Long Exposure Workshop using Athabasca Filters
Join Ben Eriksson, to capture long exposure photos using the Athabasca filter system including: Circular Polarising Filter (CPL) and Neutral Density Filters (ND), to create Long Exposure photos during daylight or sunset hours.
If you own a DSLR or Mirrorless camera then this workshop is for you.
This is a 2 1/2 hour workshop. Select the date/location which works for you below.
You will get to use for the duration of the workshop, a 100mm Filter Holder with CPL and an assortment of Neutral Density Filters… 6 Stop, 10 Stop ND, 11 Stop ND, 3 Stop Soft Grad and 3 Stop Reverse Grad filters.
You will learn how to use and photograph using:
Athabasca Filters ND Filters and Soft Graduated Filters
Learn how and why to use a Circular Polariser
Exposure triangle relating to using filters
How to manually focus your lens
Discuss composition and shutter speeds for different effects
What you need:
Camera and a lens that allows you to manual focus.
A lens without a lens hood or a detachable lens hood thats accepts, a filter thread of 52mm, 58mm, 62mm, 67mm, 72mm, 77mm or 82mm.
No tripod? No problems, I am a MeFOTO tripod Ambassador so let me know and you can borrow a MeFoto Australia tripod if you don't have one.
Remote shutter release - unless your camera has the inbuilt ability to take a long exposure over 30 seconds.
Max 5 people for this workshop.
